Discover New Romance

Every so often a story comes along that reminds us of what it's like to experience love for the first time, against the odds, when you least expect it, and with such passion that it completely changes you forever.

Bridges of Madison County Cover

Bridges of Madison County by Robert James Waller, the romantic classic of the 1990’s, tells the story of Robert Kincaid and Francesca Johnson. When Robert drives through the heat and dust of an Iowa summer and turns into Francesca’s farm lane looking for directions, the world-class photographer and the Iowa farm wife are joined in an experience of uncommon truth and stunning beauty that will haunt them forever.

Fireworks Over Toccoa

In Fireworks over Toccoa by Jeffrey Stepakoff, meet Lily Davis Woodward. Lily married Paul just before he left for war in 1942. She was seventeen. Now, three days before Paul is to return home from war, Lily has choices to make. Handsome Jake Russo, the “pyrotechnics man” is hired by the Ladies’ Auxiliary to do the fireworks show for the 4th of July. Jake and Lily meet and both of them know, instinctively, that this is one of life’s defining moments. Lily sees that she has to make a choice: should she stay and do her duty by being a wife to Paul and a proper Southern lady, or should she follow her heart?

Beach House Memories

Beach House Memories by Mary Alice Monroe transports you to the Isle of Palms south of Charleston, SC and Olivia "Lovie" Rutledge’s beach house. Lovie’s joy and passion is tracking and tending to the loggerhead sea turtles. In the summer of 1974, Dr. Russell Bennett, also involved in work with the sea turtles, comes to the Isle of Palms. Soon Lovie and Russell’s working relationship turns to romance and all of Lovie’s structured plans go out the window as her emotions gain control. What begins as a shared passion for the turtles changes to a love far more passionate and profound than Lovie has ever known—but one that forces her to face the most agonizing decision of her life.
