Citrus County Veterans Services Department will have a Veterans Case Manager on site to assist veterans applying for benefits and provide information for other veteran benefits.

CareerSource will roll out its Mobile Resource Unit (MOBY1) to the Homosassa Public Library to help residents of Citrus County find employment from helping with resumes, online job searches, and job counseling. The bus is equipped with computer access, a printer, and trained staff for assistance.
GulfCoast North Area Health Education Center is partnering with Citrus County Library System to provide a FREE 2-hour tobacco dependence seminar. Anyone interested in quitting tobacco can participate and will be provided with a free and optional supply of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) including patches, gum, or lozenges. Citrus County Animal Services and Citrus County Foundation for Animal Protection are offering a special discount in recognition of the New Year this Saturday, January 2. The adoption fee for all dogs and cats will be $20.16.
