This inspiring tale of family and hope relates Krei's experience as a young Catholic boy growing up in Germany during WWII.
As he and his family struggle to survive while opposing the Nazi regime, they live through bombings, hunger, separations, and fear of being executed by the Nazi SS.
The book follows Krei's journey from childhood to adulthood, including his eventual marriage and immigration to the United States. This is a story of strength, courage, family, and faith.
