Come make a difference in your community and have a great time doing it! For more information or to purchase tickets, call or visit your local library branch. Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the event.
Tickets can be purchased with either cash or check. All checks should be made payable to the U.S. Family Foundation.
Andrew Carnegie once noted “A library outranks any other one thing a community can do to benefit its people. It is a never failing spring in the desert.” On this remarkable evening you can support the library system and display your fervent belief in access to quality education for all, which strengthens our community. So, show your support for your local neighborhoods, the library branches within them, and join us for the 5th Annual Love Your Library Evening!
For businesses or individuals interested in becoming sponsors, or to contribute items for the silent auction, please contact Library Administration at (352) 746-9077.
October is Friends of the Library Month in Citrus County.
The work of the Friends of the Library promotes the fact that our libraries are a cornerstone of community education, providing opportunities for everyone to engage in the joy of life-long learning and connect with the thoughts and ideas of the world.
The Friends, the foundation of community support for the Citrus County Library System, understand the critical importance of well-funded libraries and advocate to ensure that our libraries get the resources needed to provide a wide variety of services to all ages.
