services, and premium databases available to library cardholders.

Criticism Select," "eBooks" and other Internet resources.

This class aimed
at book lovers, will cover the CCLS Web Directory, how to request books
from the Citrus County Library System and Alleycat online catalogs. The
online database "What Do I Read Next?" and online book clubs will be
discussed and demonstrated.

Learn to use online resources including "Business Resource Center,"
"General Business File ASAP," "InfoTrac OneFile," and the
Citrus County Library System Web Directory.

Information
In this course, students will
learn how to shop wisely, how to protect personal privacy when shopping
online, how to compare prices, and how to file consumer complaints.
Various Internet websites will be explored while learning how to be
"cyber smart" and aware of online pitfalls.

Resources
This class covers
various online websites to use when researching common gardening
questions. Areas covered include: plant identification, care
instructions, landscaping, plant hardiness zones, and where to find
plants, seeds, and other materials online.

Resources
This
class will cover several online resources for genealogy and family
history including AncestryPlus, Cyndi's List, and RootsWeb. Students
will learn search tips in conducting genealogy research, as well as
where to find various genealogy forms online.

Resources
In
this course on online government resources, students will use the CCLS
Web Directory, search engines, and specific recommended URLs (web
addresses) to locate helpful sites. This course will include a tour of
local, state, and federal government sites.

Resources
This
course will cover searching strategies on how to find medical and
health information on the Internet. There will be an emphasis on how to
evaluate the reliability of medical information found on websites.

Reference Resources
In this course, students will learn what "Ready Reference" is and explore Ready Reference Internet websites. Students will learn how to answer Ready Reference questions using the provided search tips and quality links.

Travel Resources
Inthis class, students will learn how to find travel sites on the
Internet, how to book a hotel room, purchase a plane ticket, rent a car, and how to plot a trip with maps and directions. This course will include a tour of the State Department site and the Tourism Office Worldwide Directory.
