February 28: A Neil Diamond Tribute Concert

Parks & Rec will be presenting a Neil Diamond Tribute Concert on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Citrus Springs Community Center. Keith Allynn, from Branson, MO, will be performing a Neil Diamond Tribute show as he takes you down memory lane with Neil's wonderful music. Keith is rated as one of the top 10 Neil Diamond Impersonators. Just $20.00 will get you this wonderful evening of great entertainment and dinner. Tickets will be on sale January 5, 2015 at the Parks & Recreation Office.

February 6: Comedy Show with Rene' Bray

comedyParks & Rec will be presenting a Comedy Night with Comedian Rene' Bray on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Central Ridge Community Center. Rene' is a unique combination of flavors that is guaranteed to create a memorable experience. She saunters onto the stage with a shy smile, old fashion southern charm and within 5 minutes you will feel like you are at a party listening to a long lost friend. All this for only $5.00. Tickets will be on sale January 5, 2015 at the Parks & Recreation office.

P.L.A.Y. (Preparing Little Athletes Youth Program Ages 3-5)

parks-playCitrus County Parks & Recreation’s P.L.A.Y. Program
The P.L.A.Y. program (Preparing Little Athletes Youth) is a comprehensive motor skills development program that will prepare you and your child for the world of organized sports.

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR:
Soccer at Central Ridge Park on Monday
Soccer at Homosassa Park on Wednesday
T-Ball at Central Ridge on Tuesday
T-Ball at Bicentennial Park on Thursday

 

The P.L.A.Y Progams are designed for children ages 3-5, each child will receive a team t-shirt and age appropriate sports equipment. Each program runs for six weeks, one night a week for one hour. The cost is $45.00 per child, sign your child up for more than one sport in the same session and save $10.00. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
