Adult Literacy New Tutor Training

Make a difference in your community! Join us for a workshop to become a new volunteer adult literacy tutor. Learn proven methods to teach reading, writing, and English speaking skills to adult learners. Specific topics will include: How Adults Learn, Understanding Learning Styles, Word Recognition Strategies, Reading Comprehension and Writing Strategies, Teaching Conversational Skills to English Language Learners, and Creating Lesson Plans with Confidence.
