Tai Chi

The low impact Tai Chi classes encourage, share, and enhance the knowledge about health benefits that the ancient art of Tai Chi offers. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese discipline that involves a continuous series of generally controlled slow movements to improve one’s balance and overall health. 

 

Every Tuesday, 11:00am
Floral City Branch
Drop in to practice your Tai Chi forms! Music is provided. Please wear loose clothing.

Every Wednesday, 10:00am - 11:30am
Central Ridge Branch
Tai Chi is an exercise of controlled movements with deep breathing. It improves balance, flexibility, and lowers blood pressure.

Every Thursday, 10:00am - 11:30
Lakes Region Branch
Martial arts in slow motion for balance and meditation.

Every Friday, 10:30am
Coastal Region Branch
Tai Chi for all ages, low-impact.


Every Monday, 10:15 am - 11:45 am & 12 pm - 1:30 pm

Homosassa Branch
Tai Chi for Seniors: A class that encourages, shares, and enhances the practice and knowledge of the health benefits of the ancient art of Tai Chi. Tai Chi emphasizes slow, simple motions to improve balance and overall health. Because of room size this class is limited to 25 participants.
