FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

FOCCLS | Central Ridge | Coastal Region | Floral City | Homosassa | Lakes Region

The Friends of the Citrus County Library System are non-profit organizations dedicated to enhancing public library service for the citizens of Citrus County. Friends are people who love books, love to read, and want to help others enjoy the pleasure of reading. Friends raise money through memberships, used-book sales, promotional item sales, special events, and donations. Friends inform officials of issues affecting libraries locally, state-wide, and nationally. Friends encourage gifts or memorials of funds, books, and library equipment. Friends donate time and resources to the libraries and Friends’ organizations. Friends believe that they can make the difference between a good Library System and a great Library System.
