Do you dream of becoming an American citizen? Join us at the library for seven weeks of classes designed to teach individuals the skills they will need to pass the U.S.Naturalization exam.
Topics covered include: American history, the three branches of government, courts and the legal system, and famous Americans. The classes will also focus on speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Learners will receive sample test questions and have interview practice. Space is limited. Learners can register by calling Adult Literacy Services at (352)628-5626.

Bring your Android device and questions. Learn how to manage the files on your tablet. In this class we will explore the options we have for saving, organizing, finding, and deleting the files that we save for further use. (NOTE: Classes for Kindle and iPad are taught separately.) Registration is required.

In this class we will learn the basics of Apple’s iPhone. We’ll cover some of the most commonly used features of Smartphones including, apps, settings, using the camera, connecting to the Internet, and sending text messages. A question and answer session will follow. Prerequisite: An e-mail address is required. Classes are free, but registration is required due to limited space.
