Friends are people who love books, love to read, and want to help others enjoy the pleasure of reading. Friends donate time and resources to the libraries and Friends’ organizations. Coloring can be beneficial to adults in many ways; it generates wellness, motor skills, the senses and creativity. The library will provide a "Color Me Happy" coloring book. Shared colored pencils and wax crayons are available but you are welcome to bring your own markers, colored pencils, or wax crayons.

The Citrus County Library System in partnership with The Alzheimer’s Association's Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, The Florida State Department of Elder Affairs and The Senior Choices of Southwest Florida -is sponsoring a visit by the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Mobile. Trained personnel in the bus will be able to provide you or a loved one with a screening, information, and any necessary referrals.

Staff Assisted Services Schedule and Locations
CareerSource will roll out its Mobile Resource Unit (MOBY1) to the Homosassa Public Library to help residents of Citrus County find employment from helping with resumes, online job searches, and job counseling. The bus is equipped with computer access, a printer, and trained staff for assistance.
