Everybody Loves Yogi is the true adventure of a teacup Pomeranian puppy purchased at a flea market in Homosassa, Florida. He and his companions, Daisy, an eleven-year-old American Eskimo Husky, Jeter, an eight-year-old Pomeranian, and Boo, a four-year-old black cat, enjoy life in Crystal River, Florida, where they boat with the manatees at Three Sisters Spring and swim in the Gulf of Mexico.

Citrus County staff will be providing information regarding the “Cent for Citrus” referendum that will be placed on the November 4 ballot. The proposed 1% sales tax increase will provide funding for resurfacing and maintenance of all County maintained, paved residential roadways.

Town Hall Meeting: Yulee Drive Sidewalk

town-hallJoin us for this Town Hall Meeting to discuss project: Yulee Drive Sidewalk from Central St. to US 19. The sidewalk is approximately 2.8 miles in length. The project design is funded by the Department of Transportation and administered by Citrus County under the Local Agency Program. The County is currently under contract with Cardno-TBE for survey, engineering design and permitting of the sidewalk project. This public meeting is to present the project area and take public comment and input regarding the subject sidewalk.

Child I.D. Program

kidsafeParents, grandparents, and caregivers can bring their children to the library to participate in the Citrus County Sheriff's Department Child I.D. Program. This child safety program includes: fingerprinting, DNA swab, family data, and a photo, that is put onto a CD for the family to take home. There is no cost to participate.
