Teens and Tweens can join Miss Debbie for a fun-filled class creating handmade Spring/Graduation cards. Learn special card making techniques, such as: rubber stamping, die cutting, punching, and embellishing. Attendees will create two separate greeting cards to take home. All materials sponsored by the Friends of the Coastal Region Library.

Join us for a free Tutor Training Workshop to become a new volunteer adult literacy tutor. Learn proven methods to teach reading, writing, and English speaking skills to adult learners. Specific topics include: How Adults Learn, Understanding Learning Styles, Word Recognition Strategies, Reading Comprehension, Writing Strategies, Teaching English Conversational Skills, and Creating Lesson Plans.
