National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is almost here!

Picture of NaNo logoNovember is almost here, and that means National Novel Writing Month will be underway!

National Novel Writing Month, also known as NaNoWriMo, is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing on November 1, and the goal is to write a 50,000 word (approximately 175 page) novel by 11:59:59, November 30.

Sound fun? It is!

Get started, get motivated, and get writing! Team up with other writers for moral support as you write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November.

Thank You Cards for our Veterans

veteranflagVeterans Day is a celebration to honor America's veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.  Please join us at the library to create thank you cards to express your appreciation to our Military men and women for their service.  We will supply all the materials needed to create cards which will be distributed to our local veterans through our local Veterans Service office.
