The Florida State Department of Elder Affairs estimates that almost 200,000 of our friends, family and neighbors in the Florida Gulf Coast Region, a 17 county area ranging from Charlotte to Sumter, are living with Alzheimer’s Disease. They and their caregivers face what can seem to be an overwhelming set of circumstances and decisions that need to be made during stressful times.
