This is a half day (4.0 hour) workshop designed to give adult literacy tutors the knowledge, skills, and materials to help learners pass the U.S. Naturalization Exam. Topics include: American history, branches of government, important historical dates, and much more. Tutors help learners achieve Citizenship by either working one-on-one, or through the 7-week Citizenship Classes. Helpful handouts and curricula are distributed making the topics easy to teach to learners.

Through recycling old books you can create a piece of art. The emphasis of this adult program will be on learning techniques through a hands-on approach as you turn a old book into a journal, scrapbook, art book, or memory book. You are the artist! Registration is required.
